Keep your email account safe, because it is how you sign in.

You own what you add.

You let us store it and show it only to the people your settings allow, so Pawstar can work.

Only add photos and words you have the right to share.

Everyone here is grieving.

Don’t post anything hateful, harassing, sexual, violent or cruel, and don’t mock anyone’s loss.

Don’t pretend to be someone else, advertise, or post other people’s pets or private details without permission.

You can report, hide or block any star.

We review reports and may remove content or close accounts that break these rules.

Pawstar is a place to remember, not a medical or counselling service.

If you are struggling or thinking about ending your life, call or text 988 in the US or Canada, or your local emergency number.

When letters back are switched on, they are written by AI and clearly marked.

They are not your pet, and they can be wrong.

You can pause them at any time.

Pawstar has no paid features yet.

When it does, the price, what you get and how renewal works will be shown before you pay.

Subscriptions are handled by Apple or Google and can be cancelled in your phone’s settings.

A gift is an invitation: your friend decides if and when to accept it.

We may change or stop parts of Pawstar.

If Pawstar ever closes, we will give you time to download your memories first.

You can delete your account at any time.

Pawstar is provided as it is.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses.

Nothing here removes rights you have as a consumer where you live, including in Quebec.

These terms follow the laws of Alberta and of Canada, without taking away the consumer protections of the place you live.

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will tell you in the app first.
